An autopsy has determined that the death of a woman whose body was found last week in an alley in Marlborough Park is not suspicious.
Shianne Kim Thom, 21, was discovered partially covered by snow after police were called to the 1200 block of Maitland Drive N.E. on the morning of Jan. 4.
Police said no further information would be released since the Officer of the Medical Examiner has said the death is not considered suspicious.
Thom hadn't been seen or heard from since she left her Silver Springs home in northwest Calgary on the night of Dec. 18.
Police said at the time she had a condition that required medication.
