Rohinton Mistry

Rohinton Mistry is the author of three classic novels Family Matters, A Fine Balance and Such a Long Journey all of which were shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. In 1995, he won the Scotiabank Giller Prize forA Fine Balance,which follows the lives of four people as they become enmeshed in the political turmoil of mid-1970s India.In 2013, A Fine Balance was selected by the public as the greatest Giller Prize-winning book of the past 20 years, and was named the Giller of all Gillers.
