Joanne Schwartz

Joanne Schwartz is a children's author and librarian from Cape Breton, NS. Her children's book,Town Isby the Sea, won the $50KTD Canadian Children's Literature Awardin 2018 andwas a Governor General Literary Award finalist. Illustrated by Sydney Smith, the picture book tells the story of aday in the life ofa young maritime boy and the things he seesin his seaside coal-mining town.
