Adele shares emotional 'full-circle moment' with Cline Dion at Vegas concert

While performing at her Las Vegas residency on Oct. 26, Adele spotted Cline Dion in the audience and the two pop divas shared a hug.

A fan captured the emotional moment in a video posted to Instagram, showing Adele becoming teary eyed while embracing Dion. She noticed the legendary Canadian singer while singing her hit "When We Were Young," and hurried over to see her.

In an Instagram post, Adele shared what seeing Dion in the crowd meant to her, writing that theColosseum at Caesars Palace was the only venue she wanted to play inVegasbecause it was built specifically for Dion.

"I have a picture of [Cline]right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on and she came to the show this weekend and it was a surprise and it was a MOMENT!!" she wrote."@celinedionI love you so very very much. Words will never sum up what you mean to me, or what you coming to my show means, let alone how it felt seeing you back in your palace with your beautiful family."

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace was constructed in 2003 for Dion's first residency, A New Day,where sheplayed more than 700concerts from March 25, 2003, through Dec. 15, 2007. The theatre was built for her show, includingmore than 4,000 seats, andthe whole project cost around $108 million.

The residency was incredibly successful, raking in$385.1 million in ticket sales, and it becamethe best-selling Vegas residency in history. It alsomarked the start of a momentous 16 yearsfor Dion at the venue: she launched her second residency, Celine,in 2011, and performed more than 427shows before concluding herrun in 2019.

"I'm both proud and humbled by what we've accomplished at the Colosseum since we began 16 years ago, when Ren and I first shared this dream," Dion shared in the press release at the time. "This entire experience has been a huge part of my show business career one that I will cherish forever. I have so many people to thank, but the most important 'thank you' goes to my fans, who gave us the opportunity to do what we love."

Adele began her Weekends with AdeleVegas residencyin 2022 and will perform her last show on Nov. 23.

She concluded her Instagram post about Dion by adding that it was a "full-circle moment" to be there with her.
