Jackie Khalilieh was diagnosed with autism as an adult, which among other things led her to look back at her teen years with a new perspective. Now, she's written her first YA book,titledSomething More.

It's acontemporary teen romance novelabout a Palestinian Canadian girl trying to hide her autism diagnosis while navigating her first year of high school. KhaliliehjoinedQguest host Vivek Shrayato tell us how her own experience inspired the story.
