Mahak Jain is a poet and fiction writer for children and adults. Her previous picture books include Maya which was a CBC Books Best Book of the Year and Bharatanatyam in Ballet Shoes. Jain is currently based in Toronto and working on her debut short story collection, We Are Only Human.

Andrea Stegmaier is an illustrator and architect who loves children's books. She is currently based in Germany.
