Kamloops hunter rescues abandoned kittens, calls for charges

A Kamloops hunter is calling for prosecution for the person who abandoned five kittens on a O'Connor Lake road this past weekend. Ken McKibbon was returning from hunting when he found the small felines huddled together on a freezing cold and wet blanket in a pet carrier. He rescued them and brought them to the SPCA.

Kamloops RCMP are investigating a 2 vehicle crash that sent one man to hospital with serious injuries. It happened around 6:30 Monday night on highway 5 at River Street.
A single driver in a Honda civic tried to make a left hand turn off of River street onto the highway and was T-boned by a GMC Yukon.
