How to design a monochromatic room full of winter whites

When Steven travelled to New York last fall, the winter white look was everywhere! Using whites in your decor gives off a cozy vibe, while staying tranquil and dreamy. Begin with monochromatic surfaces

Work in different textures

White rooms demand accessorizing. Add personality

Adding simple creations that you've made at home will help attain a sense of whimsy. These hand-painted gold-dipped logs are a perfect example. Plus, they provide a rustic feel that helps balance out all the clean, pearly whites.

These DIY apple blossoms, which you can make by hot gluing faux flowers to branches or twigs, soften out the stark white design by adding a delicate edge.

Switch things up for spring

To transition your room into the warmer months, throw in blush-coloured accents and swap out heavy fabrics and pillows for lighter ones. You can also add some green to the space with fresh tulips and bowls of green apples.
