Benjamin Evan Ainsworth is a British child actor.

Currently aged 13, he started acting professionally five years ago and has been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play some very diverse and uniquely challenging roles.

He recently filmed the title role of Pinocchio opposite Tom Hanks in Walt Disney Pictures live action remake of Pinocchio for director Robert Zemeckis. Benjamin will next be seen in David S. Goyers epic The Sandman for Netflix opposite Tom Sturridge.

In 2019, he spent nine months in Vancouver, shooting the Haunting of Bly Manor for Netflix under Mike Flanagan. His performance as the orphaned, deeply-troubled and volatile Miles Wingrave has earned him critical acclaim; recently described as exceptional and one of the most delicate and captivating performances in a horror story ever captured. 

During his time in Canada, he also concluded principal photography on Disneys film Flora & Ulysses in which he plays a young boy William Spiver. 

Prior to this, he shot a short film/pilot called the Recycling Man, portraying an AI robot called Jacob.

On stage, he has played William Beech in Goodnight Mister Tom, Kurt in The Sound of Music and Benji in the hit musical Priscilla Queen of The Desert. He has also starred in TV commercials in Italy and Malta and played a small role in ITVs Emmerdale in the UK back in 2018.
