Julie Stewart-Binks

Julie Stewart-Binks is a Canadian sports broadcaster currently living in New York. Shes worked as a host and reporter for Fox Sports 1, ESPN, CBS Sports HQ, NHL on TNT, NBC Sports and Fubo TV. Currently she is a brand ambassador for Bet Rivers, and a host and reporter for Sportsnet New York, and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Julie grew up in Toronto as a competitive figure skater and sprinter with the ambition of winning gold in both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games (a classic Clara Hughes), but once she realized that wasn't going to happen, she set her sights on an even bigger ambition - working in sports television. After completing a Masters in International Broadcast Journalism at City University London in 2010, Julie interned at CBC's London bureau (helping out Adrienne Arsenault get visas to every country imaginable!) before coming back to Toronto to cut her teeth logging games at Hockey Night in Canada and volunteer reporting on the Ontario Hockey League. Julie worked at Fox Soccer Channel in Winnipeg, before spending two years at CTV Regina as a reporter and anchor. In 2013, her career took her from Regina to Los Angeles, with the launch of Fox Sports 1 where she worked as an update anchor. She also hosted Fox Soccer Daily, reported on the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Women's World Cup, MLS, and worked rinkside for the Anaheim Ducks.

Julie worked as a host for FS1's coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics, and as a field reporter for baseball and softball for the Olympic Broadcast Service at the Olympics Games Tokyo 2020. Fun fact, her grandfather, Dr. John Stewart, was the rowing doctor for Team Canada at the 1976 and 1984 Olympic Games and her mother, Georgie Binks, is a former CBC News reporter.
