2 more anti-Olympic protesters charged

Vancouver Police say they have charged two more people in connection with protests that included an anti-Olympic rampage through downtown Vancouver on Saturday.

A small group of people wearing masks and hoodies to hide their identities smashed windows in the Hudson Bay Company's store and spray-painted cars along West Georgia Street.

Guillame Joseph-Marc Beaulieu, 27, of Vancouver has been charged with mischief over $5,000, police said in a news release late Tuesday.

Lliam Brander, 27, of North Vancouver was charged with assault after he was arrested Sunday in connection with an assault on two journalists during a protest march, police said.Therelease did not specify when or where that protest occurred.

Police said a total of 11 people have been arrestedin connection with the series of Olympic protestsresulting in charges to a total of five people so far.

An unsigned letter distributed to news media Tuesday from the so-called "Black Bloc"anarchists suggestedthere would be more protests targeting Olympic sponsors.

The Saturday property attacks were "non-violent" because no people were harmed, the letter claimed.
