CBC Musical Nooners July 22: Ialma

Ialmawill bring the traditional songs of their ancestors in Galicia, a region in northeast Spain, to the CBC Musical Nooners stage this Wednesday.

Based in Brussels, the five female singers that make up the bandspent yearsgatheringsongs from their heritage over the years. Theyreleased a capella albumPalabras dareiin 2000. Since then, they have combined that sound with arrangements byBelgian musicians.
