Winning ticket for $50 million jackpot in Friday's Lotto Max sold in B.C.

There is one winning ticket for the $50 million jackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw and it was sold in Kelowna, B.C.

Kelowna winner has yet to come forward to claim prize

There is one winning ticket for the $50 millionjackpot in Friday night's Lotto Max draw and it was sold inKelowna, B.C.

There were also seven MaxMillions up for grabs, and one of themillion-dollar prizes was claimed by a ticket purchased in thePrairies.

The grand prize for next Friday's draw will be approximately $16million.

On Mar. 18 a $60 million Lotto Max jackpot was won by a Torontoticket holder.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says the Kelowna storewhere the ticket was purchased will be announced after the winnerhas come forward to claim their prize.

The corporation says this is the second big lottery win inKelowna in 2016 after a resident won $21.9 million in the Feb. 20Lotto 6/49 draw.
