Piano teacher charged after sexual assault allegations

A 65-year-old piano teacher has been arrested and charged after allegations of sexual assault.

Yung Ping David Chen has taught piano lessons in his Vancouver home for more than 30 years and was released from police custody on the condition that he not contact anyone under the age of 18.

The Vancouver Police Department's sex crimes unit arrested Chen on Dec.18, 2013. Still, police are concerned there may be more victims and are asking Chen's former students or the parents of
those students to contact them.

Details regarding the specifics of Chen's offences are limited because a publication ban is in place to protect the identities of the victims.
