Snow dump on Whistler and North Shore Mountains delights skiers and snowboarders

The snow dump this past weekend on Whistler Blackcomb and the North Shore Mountains was an early Christmas present for eager skiers and snowboarders.

Although the lines were long, many said it was worth the wait.

Fresh powder at Cypress

Although the condition were overcast and foggy at Cypress Mountain, that didn't stop the revellers from enjoying the fresh snow.

'Unreal conditions'

Whistler Blackcomb got nearly 40 centimetres of snow this past weekend and shared this video of the "pure powder madness."

Another skier described it as "unreal conditions."
