The Love Motel Sessions: Hannah Georgas and Ryan Guldemond

Do you remember your first kiss? How about the first time you fell out oflove? Love it comes in so many forms, in so many ways.Nothing puts it all into perspective like Valentines Day.

For some, eventhose who are happily in love, Valentines Day can seem unnecessary,trivial, even misleading. For others, its a day to celebrate love or perhaps aperfect opportunity to shore up a relationship with a little something special.

Two Vancouver musicians, Hannah Georgas and Ryan Guldemond (ofMother Mother) recently recorded four songs for CBCMusic exploring thedelicate subject of love both joyous and sad. If youve ever been in love youll recognize what these songs have to say.

To take this idea to another level, Ryan and Hannah recorded the songsin a love motel and found a classic motel for it the 2400 Motel inVancouver. Each song is recorded in a different room of the motel suite.
