Victoria ranked Canada's most 'romantic' city

In the mood for love? You may want to leave your heart in Victoria.

British Columbia's capital takes the crown on the second-annual list of the 20 most romantic cities in Canada.

Guelph, Ont., places second in the rankings by Amazon.ca, while Calgary takes the third spot.

The other top 10 cities in order are:

• Saskatoon
• Oakville, Ont.,
• Regina
• Kingston, Ont.,
• Kelowna, B.C.,
• Nepean, Ont.,
• Burlington, Ont.

Rounding out the top 20 are: Winnipeg, Richmond Hill, Ont., and Edmonton, followed by three Ontario cities London, Kitchener and St. Catharines then Burnaby, B.C., Thunder Bay, Ont., Richmond, B.C., and Ottawa.

The online retailer says the list is based on its sales data of romance novels, sex and relationship books, romantic comedy DVDs and CDs by Canadian crooner Michael Bubl since Jan. 1 on a per capita basis in cities with more than 100,000 residents.
