A backcountrycampground in Banff National Park is closed after a bear damaged a tent.

The campground on Ghost Lake, known as LM 31, is closedParks Canada officials announced Friday.

Violators could be charged under the Canada National Parks Act and fined up to $25,000.

There is also a bear warning for nearby campgrounds LM 20and LM 22. Both campsites areonLake Minnewanka.
