Body found in vehicle in northeast Calgary

Homicide police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in a vehicle in Bridgelandin northeast Calgary.

Officers made the discovery when they were called to an alley in the 1200 block of Colgrove Avenue northeast at about 3 p.m. MT on Friday to investigate a suspicious vehicle, police said.

The cause of death isnt known. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
