Calgary police asking for help in possible abduction caught on video

A dramatic video showing several men shoving another man into a car on Stephen Avenue has Calgary police asking for the public's help in the possible abduction.

Calgary police are looking for answers after a video showing a man being forced into a Chevy Cruze on Stephen Avenue surfaced.

The incident happened around 10 p.m. MT on Wednesdayafter the car, which was accompanied by a blue Dodge Caliber,stopped near First Street southwest in downtown.

"The males from the vehicles exited and approached the group standing on the sidewalk," said police in a release.

"After a short altercation, one male was forced into the grey Chevy Cruze against his will."

The video of the altercation was takenfroma nearby taxi.

"Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the individual that was forced into the vehicle," said police.
