Calgary man charged after allegedly bringing crossbow on bus

A Calgary man has been charged after he allegedly brought a crossbow onto a city bus.

The charges come after two men wereseen walking down the street with the crossbow Thursday afternoon before getting on a Calgary Transitbus.

Witnesses said the crossbow wasn't loaded or concealed.

Although the crossbow is not a prohibited weapon, police say the man was charged because he pointed it at someone in a threatening manner.
