Coral Springs shooting suspect charged by Calgary police

A 19-year-old Calgary man is facingweapons charges after police say he shot multiple rounds into a parked vehicle and nearby homes in a northeast community in December.

Police say a manshot fourrounds into a parked vehiclewith two people inside froma silver Dodge Caravanin the 0-100 block of Coral Springs Close N.E. on Dec. 13 around 9:50 p.m.

The investigation revealed two rounds had also hit two nearby homes.

There were no reported injuries from the incident.

Following an investigation by the Calgary police guns and gangs unit, the man is facing several weapons-related charges. Police say there could be additional charges laid.
