Calgary police charge man in C-Train 'upskirting' incident

Calgary police have laid a charge of voyeurism against a man allegedly involved in an 'upskirting' incident on the C-Train last month.

Calgary police have charged a man allegedly involved in an 'upskirting' incident on the C-Train last month.

Around noon on June 2, police say a man riding the C-Train into the downtown core was spotted using a cellphone to record images under the dress of a woman standing nearby.

A witness told the woman what was happening and she confronted the man.

At that point, he ran from the C-Train at City Hall Station.

The 27-year-old Calgary man has been charged with one count of voyeurism.

Police are thanking the public for assisting with the investigation.
