CBC Calgary celebrates 60 years with open house

To mark CBC Calgary's 60th birthday, an open house was held at the station on Saturday.

CBC Calgary celebrateda big milestone this month:the station turned60 years old.

To mark the occasionwith both the CBC Calgary audience and the broadercommunity, an open house was held Saturday at the CBCoffices on Veteran's Place N.W.

It was an opportunity to meet CBC hosts and journalists, tour the station, take part in interactive experienceslikemock broadcasts andhands-on workshops, and learn about the past and present of CBC Calgary.
