Lethbridge firefighters battle multi-home blaze

Fire ripped through three homes in Lethbridge last night, damaging them heavily, and causing smoke damage in other nearby houses.

Firefighters were still on scene as of9 p.m.

The city gave limited details but had asked motorists to avoid the community of SunRidgeon the west side of the city.

The city tweeted that three stations responded, saying three homes had "extensive damage" and others had smoke damage

No injuries have been reported.
