Driver killed and pedestrian injured in Medicine Hat collision

On Sunday at around 2:35 a.m., a car veered off 13th Ave. S.E. and hit a traffic light on the TransCanada overpass, according to police.

One man is dead and another is in hospital following a single-vehicle collision in Medicine Hat.

On Sunday ataround 2:35 a.m., a car veered off 13th Ave. S.E. and hit a traffic light on the TransCanada overpass, according to police.

The driver of that car, a 27-year-old man, was killed in the accident. There was no one else in thevehicle.

A 23-year-old malepedestrian was also struck and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
