The Calgary Flames have signed free agent right-winger Troy Brouwer and goaltender Chad Johnson.

Brouwer's deal was reported to be four years at $4.5 million annually, while Johnson's was reported to be for one year at $1.7 million.

Brouwer confirmed he was headed to Calgary in an interview with TSN.

A person with direct knowledge of the Johnson deal told The Associated Press and spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Flames have not announced the agreement.

Brouwer had 18 goals and 21 assists in 82 games, plus eight goals and five assists in 20 playoff games, for the St. Louis Blues in 2015-16.

Johnson appeared in a career-high 45 games for the Buffalo Sabres this past season. The 30-year-old Calgarian posted a 22-16-4 record with a goals-against average of 2.36 and a save percentage of .920.

Johnson has a career 50-30-11 record.

Brouwer played three seasons in Chicago and four with the Washington Capitals before he was traded to St. Louis last year.

The six-foot-three, 213-pound winger has compiled 150 goals and 144 assists in 613 career NHL games.

Johnson is the second goalie Calgary picked up in as many weeks.

The Flames got Brian Elliott from the St. Louis Blues for a second-round pick and a conditional pick at last week's draft.
