Calgary police call woman's death in Pineridge suspicious, 1 in custody

Calgary police are calling the death of a woman found Saturday morning in the northeast community of Pineridge suspicious.

Calgary police are calling the death of a woman found Saturday morning in the northeast community of Pineridge suspicious.

At about 8:50 a.m., police were called to a home in the 100 block of Pinehill Road N.E. for reports of a deceased person,police saidin a release on Monday morning.

One person was taken into custody and an autopsy on the woman, believed to be in her 50s, will take place later Monday, but police said they could not provide information beyond that.
