Siksika man accused of baby assault turns himself in

Gleichen RCMP say a 27-year-old man from Siksika Nation wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for aggravated assault turned himself in Thursday night.

Gleichen RCMP say a27-year-old man from Siksika Nation wanted on a Canada-wide warrantfor aggravated assaultturned himself in Thursday night.

Kinsey Gordon Jerry is charged with aggravated assault for allegedly injuring a four-month-old child in September 2011.

He was first arrested March 6in Rocky Mountain House, butlater released to appear in Siksika provincial court on March 14.

A warrant was issued for his arrest when he did not appear for court. He is now expected in court on March 25 in Calgary.
