Elevate Aviation takes women to new heights

A new group wants to make women ready for takeoff when it comes to careers in the aviation industry.

Making up only 6 per cent of private pilots and only 16 per cent of air traffic controllers in Canada, women areunder-represented in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Elevate Aviation hopes to change that by breaking down barriers and encouraging more women to consider a career in aviation.
