Jordan Joseph Wendland wanted in Sexsmith, Alta., stabbings

ACanada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in the stabbing of four people, one fatally,in northern Alberta early Sunday.

RCMP believeJordan Joseph Wendland, 28,could betravelling to B.C. or southern Alberta.

Wendland,who sometimes uses the surname Cesenais wanted onone count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Wendlandis described as5 '11," weighing161 lb., with brown hair and eyes.

RCMPwarn Wendlandis considered dangerous and shouldnot be approached if seen.

Police were called to The Alamo Barat the Sexsmith Hotelshortly after 1a.m. Sunday.

The condition of the three people in hospital is not known.

Sexsmith is 20 km north of Grande Prairie in northwest Alberta.
