Robot competition at NAIT draws students from across Alberta

More than 200 high school students from across Albertafaced off atthe fifth annual provincialVEX Robotics Championship at NAIT this weekend.

Each year, the students are presented with an engineering challenge in the form of a game.

This year, students were tasked with building a robotthat could toss balls into a basket.

The top four teams qualifiedfor the 2016 VEX Worlds, which willbe held in Aprilin Louisville, Kentucky.
