CBC documentary looks into case of $100K worth in stolen blueberries from Hamilton

In February 2017, Hamilton police reported that$100,000 worth of blueberries and other fruits had been stolen from a commercial refrigeration truckin Stoney Creek.

The crime was dubbed #BlueberryBandit.

• FARM CRIME: A true crime documentary series that investigates unconventional offences perpetrated against largely rural victims.

According to police, the thief broke into the truck at 555 Seaman St. and drove the truck and trailer to the GTA.

Police said the berries were stolen sometime between 3 and 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2017.

The case remains unsolved.
