Hamilton couple face drug trafficking charges after search warrant executed on their home

AHamiltoncouple isfacing multiple charges afterpolice vice and drugs officers executed a search warrant at an address in the city's east end.

During Thursday's search, police said officers found a large quantity of cocaine valued at approximately $400,000, and seized more than$150,000 in cash.

A 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old womanwere arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5000, police said in a press release Friday.
