This week has beenmarked byever-increasing restrictions on daily life in Hamilton and beyond as the city, the province, and the federal government all took steps to control the spread of the coronavirus.

Normal, everyday parts of life are on hold, most notably social gatherings. CBC photographer Evan Aagaard's photos here show scenes from around the city that reflect thenew normal.
