Drunk man on E-Bike arrested

A fourth e-bike driver has been arrested in Hamilton in the last month after police picked him up for driving drunk in the city's east end Thursday.

Around 11:40 p.m., police were called about an impaired driver on an E-Bike on Cannon Street East by Bellmont Avenue, police say.

Officers stopped the rider, who was not pedaling and was swerving all over the road, police say. The driver was arrested and after a Breathalyzer test was found to be three times over the legal limit.

A 56-year-old Hamilton man was charged with impaired driving and over 80.
