Police are searching for 33-year-old Robert Murray, and say he is considered dangerous.

Murray is the second of three suspects wanted in connection with a stabbing that happened on Oct. 24 in the parking lot of the Centre on Barton.

Around 8:45 p.m., police were called to the parking lot, where it was reported that three men were attacking another man.

The victim, a 35-year-old Hamilton man, was beaten and stabbed repeatedly, police say.

Witnesses saw two male suspects getting into a white Acura sedan while the other suspect was seen running from the area going south. The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police say his condition has improved.

Police say they believe the victim and the suspects knew each other and that this was a targeted incident.

Hamilton polices heavily armed and armoured tactical team arrested another man wanted in connection with the stabbing Wednesday.

Jonathan Shane Beaver, 34, was arrested outside the city without incident. The emergency response unit is a tactical team akin to a SWAT team in the U.S. that is deployed when a suspect is believed to be dangerous and aggressive.

Anyone with any information related to the crime asked to call police at 905-546-4123 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
