Semi-automatic gun, ammo, drugs and money seized

Hamilton Police executed two search warrants at two central Hamilton homes at noon on Thursday, seizing a semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, drugs and money.

Two adults and two teens have been arrested and charged as a result of the searches, a release said. Police did not provide the exact charges or identities of those arrested.

These arrests come after last night's shooting death of ShariekDouse, 18, in Hamilton's North End.ButConst. Steve Welton declined to make a connection between the two.

"(It's) too early in the investigation to make any links," he said. "The investigation is still ongoing."
