Police in Burlington charge Toronto man with human trafficking

A Toronto man is facing human trafficking and other charges after police responded to an assault call at a motel in Burlington yesterday.

A Toronto man is facing human trafficking and other charges after police responded to an assault call at a motel in Burlington yesterday.

Police say a female victim suffered minor injuries to her face and received treatment in hospital.

A 28-year-old manis charged with two counts of assault, human trafficking and procuring to become a prostitute.

He was held for a bail hearing Saturdayin Hamilton.
