A recent trend of pay-it-forward coffee generosity prompts customers to reach further into their pockets.

The This Hour Has 22 Minutes crew wants Tim Hortons customers to dig a little deeper and pay-it-forward by paying for coffee.

This summer Canadians from Yellowknife to St. John's bought more than 10,000 cups of coffee for strangers shared through 30 random acts of kindness at Tim Hortons outlets across the country.
