Hamilton man, 36, arrested in shooting death of Tito Kelly

A Hamilton man has been charged with manslaughter after the 2023 shooting death of Tito Kelly, according to police.

This is the second arrest made since Kelly was shot and killed in October 2023

A Hamilton man has been charged with manslaughterafter the 2023 shooting death of Tito Kelly, according to police.

On Oct. 3,2023, Hamilton police responded to reports of shots fired on Herkimer Street.

Police said theyfound Kelly, 36, in an nearby alleyway.

Albert Hyseni, 22, of Hamilton was shot in the arm and was treated in the hospital at the time.

The service saidofficers believe the incidentwas a drug deal that turned into a shootout.

On Wednesday, police announcedHyseni was wanted for manslaughter, before arresting him hours later.

Police said he's stillin custody following his bail hearing this morning.

Earlier this month police arrested 36-year-old Brampton man Donte Smith and also charged him with manslaughter.

Smith remains in custody after his bail was denied at a hearing on July 11, according to police.
