One 30-year-old Calgary man has died while snowmobiling this weekend.

The avalanche was one of two that hit just near Golden B.C in one weekend.

An avalanche warning has been in effect all weekend and continues Monday.

This tragedy is just one month after five snowmobilers were killed near McBride B.C.

That's seven deaths in total this season, all in B.C.

It's prompted the Minister of State for Emergency Preparedness Naomi Yamamoto to plead with the public, to behave as safely as possible while in B.C.'s back country.
