Cambridge riding: Liberal Bryan May elected

Canada election 2015: Cambridge was redefined in 2012, when it gained territory from the Brant riding and lost territory to the new riding of Kitchener South-Hespeler.

Liberal candidate Bryan May has won in Cambridge, a riding thatConservative Gary Goodyear had heldsince 2004.

With 82.6per cent of polls reporting, May captured 43.6 per cent of the popular vote. Goodyear got 38.4 per cent and NDP candidate Bobbi Stewart got 13.5 per cent.

Goodyear was appointed the minister of the Minister of State (Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario) in 2013.

Cambridge was redefined in 2012, when it gained territory from the Brant riding and lost territory to the new riding of Kitchener South-Hespeler for the2015 federal election.

  • Green: Michele Braniff, mental health program manager with Lutherwood.
