Highway 7 reopens after 5-car collision in Breslau sends 3 to hospital

One person who had to be airlifted to hospital following a five-car crash in Breslau was initially listed in critical condition and two people were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. OPP closed a portion of Highway 7 between Greenhouse Road and Shantz Station Road for an investigation.

Three people were taken tohospital following a five-car collision in Breslau, Ont.

A portion of Highway 7between Greenhouse Road and Shantz Station wasclosed for several hours Mondaymorning as Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Monday morning and closed the highway. It has since re-opened

Police saidone person was transported to hospital via Ornge air ambulance in critical condition but her injury status has since been downgraded to non-life threatening.

The extent of the injuries sustained by the other two individuals involved is unclear.

All lanes on Highway were setto be opened shortly, OPP said.
