Teen killed after motorcycle and transport truck collide in North Dumfries Township

Waterloo regional police are investigating a fatal collision between a motorcyle and a transport truck Thursday afternoon. The 19-year-old driver of the motorcycle was killed.

A 19-year-old from Brant County diedThursday afternoon ina collision in North Dumfries Township.

Waterloo regional police were called to a crash on Cedar Creek Road near Dumfries Road around 1:30 p.m between a motorcycle and a transport truck with a trailer.

The male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the transport truck, a 38 year old male from Kitchener,was not injured, police say.

Regional police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to call WRPS' Traffic Services Unit or Crime Stoppers.
