Waterloo Region Votes 2019: Candidates on cost of living, environment and top concerns

Candidates in ridings in Waterloo region, Guelph, Wellington-Halton Hills and Perth-Wellington have responded to surveys asking them about the top issue in their ridings, the environment and the rise in the cost of living.

Voters will go to the polls on Oct. 21 and may be mulling over some important topics while making their decision.

CBC Kitchener-Waterloo has reached out to the candidates in eight ridings in and around Waterloo region.

The candidates were asked to discuss four topic areas:

  • Top issue they see fortheir riding.
  • Environment.
  • Cost of living.
  • What people need to know about the candidate.

Despite repeated attempts, some candidates were unable to be reached or did not respond to our request. If they do respond, their responses will be added.
