2 men stabbed during home invasion in The Maples

Two men were sent to hospital, one in critical condition and one stable, after a violent home invasion inThe Maples area of Winnipeg.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene in the 1100 block of Beauty Avenuejust after 9 p.m. on Tuesday and found two men stabbed in the upper body.

A CBC videographeron scene said paramedics were seen pumping the chest of one man ona stretcher.

Police taped off an area in front and behind the house and were in the area for several hours, into Wednesday morning.

Officers were seen going in and out of a couple of residences on the street.

No arrests have been made.
