Armed robbery prompts police search in Winnipeg's south Osborne area

Police are searching Winnipeg'ssouth Osbornearea following an armed robbery inside an apartment building.

Part of ClareAvenue, across from Jubilee Avenue, is blocked by police cruisers and an apartment building is surrounded in police tape.

A police spokesperson said the call came in just before 8 a.m. about a gunpoint robbery.

There are no injuries but police aresearching for thesuspect, who ran from the building.
