Toddlers in child porn allegedly found on Winnipeg man's computer

A 45-year-old man is in custody after being charged with possessing and distributing child pornography the victimsof which were toddlers, said Winnipeg police.

Investigators were tipped off by a website in June when someone uploaded child abuse imagery to its online chat room.

The suspect's IP address was linked to Winnipeg and after a lengthy investigation,police saidthey traced the upload to a residence in St. James.

On Wednesday, Winnipeg police officers, along with the force's child exploitation and technological crime units, searched the home and discovered child pornography involving toddlers on a desktop computer.
