Donald 'Rocky' Loupelle wanted after violent attack at Winnipeg hotel

Winnipeg police are advising the public to keep an eye out for Donald 'Rocky' Loupelle after a worker at the McLaren Hotel had parts of her ear bitten off in a violent attack June 19.

Police are advising the public to keep an eye out for a 44-year-old male suspectafter a worker at a Winnipeg hotelhad parts of her ears bitten off in a violent attack last weekend.

At about 2:30 a.m.Sunday, 40-year-oldLaverneBunnwas working at the hotel, located in the 500 block of Main Street, when a man and a woman came in. She refused them service and they proceeded to attack her for several minutes, police said.

The suspects took off before officers arrived, but investigators now believeLoupellewas involved.

He is 5-foot-7, has a medium build and weighs 143 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes, facial hair and dark, wavy hair.

Loupelleis wanted for aggravated assault.

The woman in her 20s who took part in the assault is about 5-foot-9, has a medium build andweighs 172 pounds. She has dark hair and brown eyes, police said.
